Sara’nın Oğlu

Gece. Max Sara’nın kanepesinde uyuyor.

It is night. Max sleeps on Sara’s sofa.

Sara onunla oturuyor. Elinde bir fotoğraf var.

Sara sits with him. She has a photo.

Nina içeri geliyor.

Nina comes in.

“Bu kim?” diyor.

“Who is this?” she says.

“Omar,” diyor Sara.

“Omar,” Sara says.

Bu Omar. O çok küçük bir çocuk.

It is Omar. He is a very small boy.

Bir adamla. Adam gülümsüyor.

He is with a man. The man smiles.

Omar gülümsüyor.

Omar smiles.

“Adam kim?” diyor Nina.

“Who is the man?” Nina says.

Sara hiçbir şey demiyor.

Sara says nothing.

Fotoğraf bir zarfa giriyor. Sara onu kapatıyor.

The photo goes in an envelope. Sara closes it.

Nina yine soruyor.

Nina asks again.

“O kim?”

“Who is he?”

Sara ona uzun zaman bakıyor.

Sara looks at her for a long time.
