Rain

下雨 xiàyǔ 了 le 。Nina 走路 zǒulù 。 她 tā 没有 méiyǒu 外套 wàitào 。

It rains. Nina walks. She has no coat.

Nina 湿 shī 了 le 。Max 湿 shī 了 le 。 她的 tāde 面包 miànbāo 湿 shī 了 le 。

Nina is wet. Max is wet. Her bread is wet.

一辆 yíliàng 小 xiǎo 车 chē 停 tíng 了 le 。 它 tā 是 shì 出租车 chūzūchē 。 是 shì Tom。

A small car stops. It is a taxi. It is Tom.

“ 三 sān 欧元 ōuyuán ，” 他 tā 说 shuō 。

“Three euros,” he says.

“Tom， 下雨 xiàyǔ 了 le ，”Nina 说 shuō 。

“Tom, it is rain,” Nina says.

“ 是 shì ，”Tom 说 shuō 。“ 三 sān 欧元 ōuyuán 。”

“Yes,” Tom says. “Three euros.”

“ 我的 wǒde 包 bāo 里 lǐ 有 yǒu 水 shuǐ 。”

“There is water in my bag.”

“ 三 sān 欧元 ōuyuán 。”

“Three euros.”

“ 不 bù ，”Nina 说 shuō 。 她 tā 走路 zǒulù 。

“No,” Nina says. She walks.

Max 看 kàn 出租车 chūzūchē 。 他 tā 进去 jìnqù 。

Max looks at the taxi. He goes in.

一号 yīhào 座位 zuòwèi ：Tom。 二号 èrhào 座位 zuòwèi ：Tom。

Seat one: Tom. Seat two: Tom.

Max 坐 zuò 在 zài Tom 身上 shēnshàng 。

Max sits on Tom.

Nina 走路 zǒulù 。 出租车 chūzūchē 跟 gēn 她 tā 一起 yìqǐ 走 zǒu 。

Nina walks. The taxi goes with her.
