Sem Dinheiro

Nina senta na cama. Ela olha dentro da sacola.

Nina sits on the bed. She looks in her bag.

Não tem muito dinheiro.

There is not much money.

Um euro. Dois euros.

One euro. Two euros.

Ela olha dentro do envelope. Nada.

She looks in the envelope. Nothing.

Ela olha para o Max. Max olha para ela.

She looks at Max. Max looks at her.

Ela precisa de um emprego.

She needs a job.

Ela vai até a loja.

She goes to the shop.

“Eu preciso de trabalho,” ela diz.

“I need work,” she says.

Omar olha para ela por muito tempo.

Omar looks at her for a long time.

“Eu tenho um emprego,” ele diz. “Faça o pão.”

“I have a job,” he says. “Make the bread.”

“Sim,” Nina diz.

“Yes,” Nina says.

“É trabalho de noite.”

“It is night work.”

“Sim.”

“Yes.”

“Tem muito trabalho.”

“There is much work.”
