A Room

A Room

Ein Zimmer

Nina has a key, a bag and no bed.

Nina hat einen Schlüssel, eine Tasche und kein Bett.

She needs a bed.

Sie braucht ein Bett.

She goes in Omar’s shop.

Sie geht in Omars Laden.

“Where is a bed?” she says.

„Wo ist ein Bett?“, sagt sie.

Omar looks at her. Then he looks at the bag.

Omar schaut sie an. Dann schaut er die Tasche an.

“My mother has a room,” he says. “She says no.”

„Meine Mutter hat ein Zimmer“, sagt er. „Sie sagt nein.“

This is Sara. She is Omar’s mother.

Das ist Sara. Sie ist Omars Mutter.

Sara looks at Nina. She looks at the bag. She looks at the dog.

Sara schaut Nina an. Sie schaut die Tasche an. Sie schaut den Hund an.

“What is this?” she says.

„Was ist das?“, sagt sie.

“This is my bag,” Nina says.

„Das ist meine Tasche“, sagt Nina.

“And this?”

„Und das?“

“This is not my dog.”

„Das ist nicht mein Hund.“

“No,” Sara says.

„Nein“, sagt Sara.
