A Room

A Room

Bir Oda

Nina has a key, a bag and no bed.

Nina’nın bir anahtarı, bir çantası var ama yatağı yok.

She needs a bed.

Ona bir yatak lazım.

She goes in Omar’s shop.

Omar’ın dükkanına gidiyor.

“Where is a bed?” she says.

“Yatak nerede?” diyor.

Omar looks at her. Then he looks at the bag.

Omar ona bakıyor. Sonra çantaya bakıyor.

“My mother has a room,” he says. “She says no.”

“Annemin bir odası var,” diyor. “O hayır diyor.”

This is Sara. She is Omar’s mother.

Bu Sara. O Omar’ın annesi.

Sara looks at Nina. She looks at the bag. She looks at the dog.

Sara Nina’ya bakıyor. Çantaya bakıyor. Köpeğe bakıyor.

“What is this?” she says.

“Bu ne?” diyor.

“This is my bag,” Nina says.

“Bu benim çantam,” diyor Nina.

“And this?”

“Ya bu?”

“This is not my dog.”

“O benim köpeğim değil.”

“No,” Sara says.

“Hayır,” diyor Sara.
