Um Quarto

Nina tem uma chave, uma sacola e nenhuma cama.

Nina has a key, a bag and no bed.

Ela precisa de uma cama.

She needs a bed.

Ela entra na loja do Omar.

She goes in Omar’s shop.

“Onde tem uma cama?” ela diz.

“Where is a bed?” she says.

Omar olha para ela. Depois ele olha para a sacola.

Omar looks at her. Then he looks at the bag.

“A minha mãe tem um quarto,” ele diz. “Ela diz não.”

“My mother has a room,” he says. “She says no.”

Esta é Sara. Ela é a mãe do Omar.

This is Sara. She is Omar’s mother.

Sara olha para Nina. Ela olha para a sacola. Ela olha para o cachorro.

Sara looks at Nina. She looks at the bag. She looks at the dog.

“O que é isto?” ela diz.

“What is this?” she says.

“Esta é a minha sacola,” Nina diz.

“This is my bag,” Nina says.

“E isto?”

“And this?”

“Este não é meu cachorro.”

“This is not my dog.”

“Não,” Sara diz.

“No,” Sara says.

Depois ela abre uma porta.

Then she opens a door.
