A Room

ニーナはカギとかばんを持っています。ベッドはありません。

Nina has a key, a bag and no bed.

ベッドが必要です。

She needs a bed.

ニーナはオマルの店に行きます。

She goes in Omar’s shop.

「ベッドはどこですか？」と言います。

“Where is a bed?” she says.

オマルはニーナを見ます。それから、かばんを見ます。

Omar looks at her. Then he looks at the bag.

「私のお母さんはへやがあります」と彼は言います。「でも、お母さんはダメと言います」

“My mother has a room,” he says. “She says no.”

これはサラです。オマルのお母さんです。

This is Sara. She is Omar’s mother.

サラはニーナを見ます。かばんを見ます。犬を見ます。

Sara looks at Nina. She looks at the bag. She looks at the dog.

「これは何ですか？」と言います。

“What is this?” she says.

「これは私のかばんです」とニーナは言います。

“This is my bag,” Nina says.

「そして、これは？」

“And this?”

「これは私の犬ではありません」

“This is not my dog.”

「ダメ」とサラは言います。

“No,” Sara says.
