O cameră

Nina are o cheie, o geantă și niciun pat.

Nina has a key, a bag and no bed.

Ea are nevoie de un pat.

She needs a bed.

Ea intră în magazinul lui Omar.

She goes in Omar’s shop.

„Unde este un pat?” spune ea.

“Where is a bed?” she says.

Omar se uită la ea. Apoi se uită la geantă.

Omar looks at her. Then he looks at the bag.

„Mama mea are o cameră”, spune el. „Ea spune nu.”

“My mother has a room,” he says. “She says no.”

Asta este Sara. Ea este mama lui Omar.

This is Sara. She is Omar’s mother.

Sara se uită la Nina. Ea se uită la geantă. Ea se uită la câine.

Sara looks at Nina. She looks at the bag. She looks at the dog.

„Ce este asta?” spune ea.

“What is this?” she says.

„Asta este geanta mea”, spune Nina.

“This is my bag,” Nina says.

„Și asta?”

“And this?”

„Asta nu este câinele meu.”

“This is not my dog.”

„Nu”, spune Sara.

“No,” Sara says.

Apoi ea deschide o ușă.

Then she opens a door.
