A Room

Nina ma klucz, torbę i nie ma łóżka.

Nina has a key, a bag and no bed.

Potrzebuje łóżka.

She needs a bed.

Idzie do sklepu Omara.

She goes in Omar’s shop.

„Gdzie jest łóżko?” — mówi.

“Where is a bed?” she says.

Omar patrzy na nią. Potem patrzy na torbę.

Omar looks at her. Then he looks at the bag.

„Moja mama ma pokój” — mówi. „Ona mówi nie.”

“My mother has a room,” he says. “She says no.”

To jest Sara. Ona jest mamą Omara.

This is Sara. She is Omar’s mother.

Sara patrzy na Ninę. Patrzy na torbę. Patrzy na psa.

Sara looks at Nina. She looks at the bag. She looks at the dog.

„Co to jest?” — mówi.

“What is this?” she says.

„To jest moja torba” — mówi Nina.

“This is my bag,” Nina says.

„A to?”

“And this?”

„To nie jest mój pies.”

“This is not my dog.”

„Nie” — mówi Sara.

“No,” Sara says.
