The Note on the Door

In the morning there is a paper on Nina’s door.

早上 zǎoshàng ，Nina 的 de 门 mén 上 shàng 有 yǒu 一张 yìzhāng 纸 zhǐ 。

It is a note.

Nina reads it.

Nina reads that word again. Friend.

Who is her friend here?

Is it Omar? Is it Leo?

Nina goes to the shop.

“Is that your note?” she says.

“ 那 nà 是 shì 你的 nǐde 便条 biàntiáo 吗 ma ？” 她 tā 说 shuō 。

Omar reads it.

Omar 读 dú 它 tā 。

“No,” he says. “I make bread. I do not write.”

“ 不 bù ，” 他 tā 说 shuō 。“ 我 wǒ 做 zuò 面包 miànbāo 。 我 wǒ 不 bù 写 xiě 。”

Nina goes to Leo.

Nina 去 qù Leo 那里 nàlǐ 。
