Refunds and cancellation

Last updated 23 September 2026

Who you pay

Payments for DuoText plans are processed by Link, Stripe's checkout service, which sells the plan to you on our behalf. That is why your card statement shows a charge starting with LINK.COM* and why your receipts come from Link. You can ask either us or Link for a refund, and you can see your orders at app.link.com.

Cancelling a plan

You can cancel anytime from your account page or from Link. You keep your plan and its pages until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund the rest of a month or year you've already started using. Books you've translated stay in your library.

Your first 14 days

If you change your mind within 14 days of paying for a new plan and haven't translated anything with it yet, we'll refund you in full. Once you've used pages from the plan, the service has been delivered and that payment isn't refundable, except in the cases below.

Translations that go wrong

If a translation fails, it's stopped and its pages go back to your allowance automatically. You never pay for a book you didn't get.

If a finished translation is unusable (missing chapters, the wrong language, garbled text), write to us within 14 days. We'll give the pages back or, if we can't fix it, refund you.

Billing mistakes

If you were charged twice or charged after cancelling, we'll refund it in full.

How to ask for a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and tell us what happened. We answer within 3 business days. Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Your legal rights

Nothing on this page limits the rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
