Ancient Philosophers

One philosopher of ancient Greece and Rome per book, retold in simple German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, English, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Romanian, Turkish and Chinese. Free to read in the browser, with a translation beside every paragraph.

About the series

One ancient philosopher per book, told through scenes and stories rather than arguments: the well, the barrel, the garden, the cave.

Every book ends with a single line, the idea, and a note on which parts come from the ancient sources and which are anecdote or legend.
