„Mănâncă ceva”, spune ea.

“Eat something,” she says.

„Aceasta ești tu. Tu râzi.”

“This is you. You are laughing.”

„Este o poză foarte veche.”

“That is a very old photo.”

„Și asta este bunica mea. Tu o cunoști.”

“And this is my grandma. You know her.”

„Ouăle sunt calde”, spune Sara.

“The eggs are hot,” Sara says.

„De cât timp o cunoști?”

“How long do you know her?”

„De cincizeci de ani”, spune ea.

„În fiecare zi te întreb despre uși albastre. În fiecare zi spui nu.”

„Da”, spune Sara. „Nu este nicio ușă pentru tine în orașul ăsta.”

“Yes,” Sara says. “There is no door for you in this town.”
