Piąta rano

Jest piątek, piąta rano. Nina otwiera oczy.

It is Friday, five o’clock in the morning. Nina opens her eyes.

Jest bardzo ciemno i bardzo cicho.

It is very dark and very quiet.

Maxa nie ma na łóżku. To jest nowe.

Max is not on the bed. That is new.

Coś słyszy. Kto pracuje o piątej rano?

She hears something. Who is working at five o’clock in the morning?

Schodzi po schodach powoli.

She goes down the stairs, slowly.

Zatrzymuje się na stopniu numer dwadzieścia. Słyszy krok.

She stops on stair twenty. She hears a step.

To jest tam na dole, w kuchni.

It is down there, in the kitchen.

Słyszy drugi krok.

She hears a second step.

Są drzwi kuchni. Są zamknięte.

There is the kitchen door. It is closed.

Pod nimi jest małe żółte światło.

There is a small yellow light under it.

Przy tych drzwiach jest gorąco. Za nimi jest świeży chleb.

It is hot at this door. There is fresh bread behind it.

Nina kładzie głowę na podłodze. Patrzy pod drzwi.

Nina puts her head on the floor. She looks under the door.

Widzi dwa małe buty. To są stare czarne buty.

She sees two small shoes. They are old black shoes.

Idą do stołu. Idą do okna.

They go to the table. They go to the window.
