Às sete horas tem uma bandeja em uma cadeira.

As pessoas descem a escada. Elas não estão felizes.

People come down the stairs. They are not happy.

Elas comem o pão. Elas olham para os pratos. Elas param de falar.

They eat the bread. They look at their plates. They stop talking.

“Tem mais pão?” um homem diz, muito baixinho.

“Is there more bread?” a man says, very quietly.

Nina pega um pouco dele. Ela come. Ela fecha os olhos.

Nina takes a little of it. She eats. She closes her eyes.

Ela é muito pequena. Ela está em uma mesa grande.

She is very small. She is at a big table.

Ela abre os olhos. Ela é uma mulher com uma bandeja.
