Bayan Berg’in masasının arkasında büyük bir saat var.

There is a big clock behind Mrs Berg’s desk.

Saat üç. Cuma öğleden sonra.

Bayan Berg paltosunu alıyor. Bu yeni.

Mrs Berg takes her coat. That is new.

“Doktor beni görmek istiyor,” diyor. “Burada oturun.”

“The doctor wants to see me,” she says. “Sit here.”

“Hasta mısınız?”

“Are you sick?”

“Hayır. Oturun.”

“No. Sit.”

“Masada mı?”

“At the desk?”

“Telefona cevap verin. Bilgisayarı kullanmayın.”

“Answer the telephone. Don’t use the computer.”

“Ne diyorum?”

“What do I say?”

“Asansör bugün çalışmıyor.”

“The lift doesn’t work today.”

Dışarı çıkıyor. Nina masanın arkasına oturuyor.

She goes out. Nina sits behind the desk.

İyi bir sandalye. Max onun ayakkabısına oturuyor.

It is a good chair. Max sits on her shoe.

Sessiz. Saat çalışıyor. Asansör çalışmıyor.

It is quiet. The clock works. The lift doesn’t.

Bir adam bir mektupla içeri geliyor.

A man comes in with a letter.
