Roti Segar

Setiap pagi jam lima, Nina ada di dapur.

Every morning at five o’clock, Nina is in the kitchen.

Gelap dan sunyi.

It is dark and quiet.

Jam enam burung datang ke pintu belakang.

At six o’clock a bird comes to the back door.

Burung itu kecil dan abu-abu. Itu burung Nenek. Setiap pagi dia makan roti Nenek.

It is small and grey. It is Grandma’s bird. Every morning it eats Grandma’s bread.

Nina memberi burung itu sedikit rotinya.

Nina gives it a little of her bread.

Burung itu melihat roti. Dia melihat Nina.

The bird looks at the bread. It looks at Nina.

Dia pergi.

It goes.

Max makan roti itu. Tapi Max makan catatan.

Max eats the bread. But Max eats notes.

Jam tujuh, baki ada di atas kursi.

At seven o’clock, the tray is on the chair.

Nina menutup pintu dapur. Dia berdiri di belakangnya.

Nina closes the kitchen door. She stands behind it.

Dia mendengar orang di tangga. Mereka tidak senang.

She hears people on the stairs. They are not happy.

Dia mendengar kursi. Lalu dia tidak mendengar apa-apa.

She hears chairs. Then she hears nothing.

Mereka melihat piring mereka.

They are looking at their plates.

Mereka makan. Mereka berhenti bicara. Itu sangat bagus.

They are eating. They stop talking. That is very good.
