Taze Ekmek

Her sabah saat beşte Nina mutfakta.

Every morning at five o’clock, Nina is in the kitchen.

Karanlık ve sessiz.

It is dark and quiet.

Saat altıda arka kapıya bir kuş geliyor.

At six o’clock a bird comes to the back door.

Küçük ve gri. Babaannenin kuşu. Her sabah Babaannenin ekmeğini yiyor.

It is small and grey. It is Grandma’s bird. Every morning it eats Grandma’s bread.

Nina ona biraz ekmeğini veriyor.

Nina gives it a little of her bread.

Kuş ekmeğe bakıyor. Nina’ya bakıyor.

The bird looks at the bread. It looks at Nina.

Gidiyor.

It goes.

Max ekmeği yiyor. Ama Max not yiyor.

Max eats the bread. But Max eats notes.

Saat yedide tepsi sandalyede.

At seven o’clock, the tray is on the chair.

Nina mutfak kapısını kapatıyor. Arkasında duruyor.

Nina closes the kitchen door. She stands behind it.

Merdivenlerde insanları duyuyor. Mutlu değiller.

She hears people on the stairs. They are not happy.

Sandalyeleri duyuyor. Sonra hiçbir şey duymuyor.

She hears chairs. Then she hears nothing.

Tabaklarına bakıyorlar.

They are looking at their plates.

Yiyorlar. Konuşmayı bırakıyorlar. Bu çok iyi.

They are eating. They stop talking. That is very good.
