Mrs Berg

It is nine o’clock at night. There are no cars.

Gece saat dokuz. Araba yok.

Nina stands by the river.

Nina nehrin yanında duruyor.

This is the hotel. It is small. It has a white door.

Bu otel. Küçük. Beyaz bir kapısı var.

It is not blue. She goes in with Max and the bag.

Mavi değil. Max’le ve çantayla içeri giriyor.

A woman stands behind a desk, looking at a computer.

Bir kadın masanın arkasında duruyor, bilgisayara bakıyor.

She doesn’t look up.

Yukarı bakmıyor.

“Good evening,” she says. “Your name, please?”

“İyi akşamlar,” diyor. “Adınız lütfen?”

“Nina.”

“Nina.”

“There is no Nina. I am Mrs Berg. Do you have a booking?”

“Nina yok. Ben Bayan Berg. Rezervasyonunuz var mı?”

“No,” Nina says. “I have a key.”

“Hayır,” diyor Nina. “Benim bir anahtarım var.”

She puts the key on the desk.

Anahtarı masaya koyuyor.

Mrs Berg looks at it for a long time. Her face does nothing.

Bayan Berg ona uzun zaman bakıyor. Yüzü hiçbir şey yapmıyor.

“That is not one of my keys,” she says.

“Bu benim anahtarlarımdan biri değil,” diyor.

“It is for a blue door. Is there a blue door here?”

“Mavi bir kapı için. Burada mavi bir kapı var mı?”
