Bu Berg

Sekarang jam sembilan malam. Tidak ada mobil.

It is nine o’clock at night. There are no cars.

Nina berdiri di dekat sungai.

Nina stands by the river.

Ini hotel itu. Hotel itu kecil. Hotel itu punya pintu putih.

This is the hotel. It is small. It has a white door.

Pintu itu tidak biru. Dia masuk dengan Max dan tas.

It is not blue. She goes in with Max and the bag.

Wanita berdiri di belakang meja, melihat komputer.

A woman stands behind a desk, looking at a computer.

Dia tidak melihat ke atas.

She doesn’t look up.

“Selamat malam,” katanya. “Siapa nama Anda?”

“Good evening,” she says. “Your name, please?”

“Nina.”

“Nina.”

“Tidak ada Nina. Saya Bu Berg. Apakah Anda punya pesanan?”

“There is no Nina. I am Mrs Berg. Do you have a booking?”

“Tidak,” kata Nina. “Aku punya kunci.”

“No,” Nina says. “I have a key.”

Dia menaruh kunci itu di meja.

She puts the key on the desk.

Bu Berg melihatnya lama. Wajahnya tidak melakukan apa-apa.

Mrs Berg looks at it for a long time. Her face does nothing.

“Itu bukan salah satu kunci saya,” katanya.

“That is not one of my keys,” she says.

“Itu untuk pintu biru. Apakah ada pintu biru di sini?”

“It is for a blue door. Is there a blue door here?”
