Sra. Berg

São nove horas da noite. Não tem carros.

It is nine o’clock at night. There are no cars.

Nina fica perto do rio.

Nina stands by the river.

Este é o hotel. Ele é pequeno. Ele tem uma porta branca.

This is the hotel. It is small. It has a white door.

Ela não é azul. Ela entra com o Max e a sacola.

It is not blue. She goes in with Max and the bag.

Uma mulher fica atrás de um balcão, olhando para um computador.

A woman stands behind a desk, looking at a computer.

Ela não levanta os olhos.

She doesn’t look up.

“Boa noite,” ela diz. “O seu nome, por favor?”

“Good evening,” she says. “Your name, please?”

“Nina.”

“Nina.”

“Não tem nenhuma Nina. Eu sou a Sra. Berg. Você tem uma reserva?”

“There is no Nina. I am Mrs Berg. Do you have a booking?”

“Não,” Nina diz. “Eu tenho uma chave.”

“No,” Nina says. “I have a key.”

Ela coloca a chave no balcão.

She puts the key on the desk.

A Sra. Berg olha para ela por muito tempo. O rosto dela não faz nada.

Mrs Berg looks at it for a long time. Her face does nothing.

“Essa não é uma das minhas chaves,” ela diz.

“That is not one of my keys,” she says.

“Ela é para uma porta azul. Tem uma porta azul aqui?”

“It is for a blue door. Is there a blue door here?”
