Asansör

Otelde bir asansör var. Çok küçük.

There is a lift in the hotel. It is very small.

Üstünde bir tabela var: “Bir kişi.”

There is a sign on it: “One person.”

Üstünde bir kağıt var: “Asansör bugün çalışmıyor.”

There is a paper on it: “The lift doesn’t work today.”

Nina o kağıdı her sabah okuyor. Her zaman aynı kağıt.

Nina reads that paper every morning. It is always the same paper.

Sarı. Çok eski bir bugün.

It is yellow. It is a very old today.

Yine pazartesi, öğleden sonra saat üç.

It is Monday again, three o’clock in the afternoon.

Bir adam üç büyük çantayla içeri geliyor.

A man comes in with three big bags.

“Benim rezervasyonum var,” diyor. “Oda on iki.”

“I have a booking,” he says. “Room twelve.”

Nina yeri temizlemeyi bırakıyor. Yukarı bakıyor.

Nina stops cleaning the floor. She looks up.

“Bir gece seksen avro,” diyor Bayan Berg. “Asansör bugün çalışmıyor.”

“Eighty euros for a night,” Mrs Berg says. “The lift doesn’t work today.”

“Bugün mü?” diyor adam.

“Today?” the man says.

“Bugün. Lütfen merdivenleri kullanın.”

“Today. Please use the stairs.”

“Wi-Fi var mı?”

“Is there wifi?”

“Evet. Wi-Fi şifresi masanın üstünde.”

“Yes. The wifi password is on the desk.”
