En su familia, su mujer conduce. Conduce al mercado, al médico y al restaurante. Mehmet se sienta al lado de ella y habla.
In his family, his wife drives. She drives to the market, to the doctor and to the restaurant. Mehmet sits next to her and talks.
«Gira a la izquierda aquí», dice él. «¡No, a la derecha! ¡Cuidado con el autobús!»
“Turn left here,” he says. “No, right! Watch the bus!”
«Mehmet», dice su mujer. «¿Quién conduce este coche? ¿Tú o yo?»
“Mehmet,” says his wife. “Who drives this car? You or me?”
«Tú, claro».
“You, of course.”
«Entonces cállate».
“Then be quiet.”
Una tarde, su mujer llega a casa con una carta. Está contenta y triste al mismo tiempo.

«¡Bursa! Eso está lejos».
“Bursa! That is far.”
«Sí. Vivo allí de lunes a viernes. Vengo a casa el fin de semana».
“Yes. I live there from Monday to Friday. I come home at the weekend.”
Mehmet no habla durante un momento. «¿Y el coche?»

«El coche viene conmigo. Lo necesito en Bursa».
