It is Saturday, twelve o’clock. It is dark.

今天 jīntiān 是 shì 星期六 xīngqīliù ， 十二 shíèr 点 diǎn 。 天 tiān 很 hěn 黑 hēi 。

The sun is not there. There is a lot of snow.

太阳 tàiyáng 不 bú 在 zài 那里 nàlǐ 。 有 yǒu 很多 hěnduō 雪 xuě 。

The cars are white. The bridge is white.

车 chē 是 shì 白色 báisè 的 de 。 桥 qiáo 是 shì 白色 báisè 的 de 。

Nina’s hands are red.

Nina 的 de 手 shǒu 是 shì 红色 hóngsè 的 de 。

Tom’s taxi is a small white hill.

Tom 的 de 出租车 chūzūchē 是 shì 一座 yízuò 白色 báisè 的 de 小 xiǎo 山 shān 。

Nina looks in her bag. Her clothes are clothes for the sun.

Nina 看 kàn 她的 tāde 包 bāo 。 她的 tāde 衣服 yīfú 是 shì 给 gěi 太阳 tàiyáng 的 de 衣服 yīfú 。

She has two shirts. One shirt is yellow. She has no coat.

她 tā 有 yǒu 两 liǎng 件 jiàn 衬衫 chènshān 。 一 yí 件 jiàn 衬衫 chènshān 是 shì 黄色 huángsè 的 de 。 她 tā 没有 méiyǒu 外套 wàitào 。

She goes down to the shop in the yellow shirt.

她 tā 穿 chuān 着 zhe 黄色 huángsè 的 de 衬衫 chènshān 下 xià 去 qù 店 diàn 那里 nàlǐ 。

“Goodbye, Omar,” she says.

“ 再见 zàijiàn ，Omar，” 她 tā 说 shuō 。

Omar stops working. He gives her a big bread. His eyes are sad.

Omar 停 tíng 了 le 工作 gōngzuò 。 他 tā 给 gěi 她 tā 一个 yígè 大 dà 面包 miànbāo 。 他的 tāde 眼睛 yǎnjīng 很 hěn 难过 nánguò 。

Leo gives her a drawing of Max.

Leo 给 gěi 她 tā 一张 yìzhāng Max 的 de 画 huà 。

“Goodbye,” he says. He doesn’t shout. That is very sad.

“ 再见 zàijiàn ，” 他 tā 说 shuō 。 他 tā 不 bù 喊 hǎn 。 这 zhè 非常 fēicháng 难过 nánguò 。

Mr Lund comes in. He gives her four apples.

Lund 先生 xiānshēng 进来 jìnlái 。 他 tā 给 gěi 她 tā 四 sì 个 gè 苹果 píngguǒ 。
