Es ist neun Uhr morgens. Der Mann mit den drei Taschen geht hinaus.

Frau Berg gibt Nina einen Schlüssel.

Mrs Berg gives Nina a key.

„Machen Sie das Bad in Zimmer zwölf sauber“, sagt sie.

“Clean the bathroom in room twelve,” she says.

Nina geht die achtzig Stufen hinauf. Sie macht die Tür leise zu.

Nina goes up the eighty stairs. She closes the door quietly.

Das Zimmer ist sehr leise.

The room is very quiet.

Sie nimmt das Foto aus ihrer Tasche.

She takes the photo out of her bag.

Oma ist darauf alt, und sie lächelt.

Grandma is old in it, and she is smiling.

Hinter ihrem Kopf ist ein Fenster.

Behind her head there is a window.

Nina geht zum Fenster.

Nina goes to the window.

Darauf ist eine kleine alte Nummer. Eine 1 und eine 2.

There is a small old number on it. A 1 and a 2.

Es ist das gleiche Fenster. Hier ist das gleiche Licht.

It is the same window. Here is the same light.

Sie stellt ihre Schuhe auf den gleichen Boden.

She puts her shoes on the same floor.

Jetzt steht sie dort, wo Oma steht.

Now she is standing where Grandma stands.

Hier ist keine blaue Tür. Das kann sie sehen. Sie sucht sie.

There is no blue door here. She can see that. She looks for it.
