About the series
The great stories everyone has heard of, retold in easy German, with a translation beside every paragraph: a detective, a monster on the moor, a treasure map, a journey around the world. The characters, the famous scenes and the ending are all there; the long descriptions and the side plots are not.
The German is at A2: common words that come back again and again, short sentences, and the everyday past tense. You can follow the whole plot of a real novel with the German you already have.
Each book is a few short chapters, about an hour of reading, and every chapter ends where you want to know what happens next.
