About the series

Short stories for children, and for anyone taking their very first steps in a new language, with a translation beside every paragraph. A cat who is nowhere to be found, a dog who will not have a bath, a wobbly tooth, a snowman for a grandmother in bed: small everyday problems, solved by the end, with a laugh on the way.

Every edition is at A1, the very first level. Every story is told in the present tense, in short sentences, with the same everyday words coming back again and again. No past tenses and no long clauses: nothing a beginner has not met yet.
